There is no more comfortable rocker than the P & Chair Company's classic southern Carolina Slat Porch Rocker. The P & P Company was purchased in 2009 by Troutman Chair Company but this classic rocker retains the same quality construction and comfort. Featuring the same sturdy construction as the Kennedy Rocker, the secret of this chair's comfort lies in the shrewdly planned steam-bent curve of the back post, which sweep in to give firm support to the sitter's back, and yet carry his weight down to the exact point on the rockers where they contact the floor. This makes for perfect, restful balance. The rocker is shaped, steam-bent, and assembled while still green to a tried and true design. There are no unnecessary frills - every part is functional - even the knobs atop the back posts have their use as a place to tie a back cushion.

There is a $100 surcharge for rocker orders to eleven Mountain and Pacific time zone states due to ever increasing freight rates.
